Mi chiamo Adrian, sono nato il 1 gennaio 1971 a Cagliari, nella mia amata Paradisola. Ho cominciato a disegnare, o meglio scarabocchiare, quando avevo 3 anni. Dopo essermi diplomato al linguistico, sono partito per Londra, dove ho vissuto per 12 anni, e dove ho iniziato a tatuare.
Il tatuaggio, dopo la mia famiglia e la Sardegna, e' la cosa piu' importante nella mia vita.
Il tatuaggio mi ha dato la possibilita' di viaggiare e conoscere tante persone interessanti, venire a contatto con molte culture diverse e aprirmi la mente.

Quello che cerco di fare con i tatuaggi e' creare un disegno che sia unico per ogni cliente, che vada perfettamente in armonia con il corpo e rappresenti la persona che lo indossera', tipo abito fatto su misura.
lavoro solo sul nero e grigio , lo stile chicano, che io adoro e lo stile realistico.
Uno dei miei progetti e' di creare uno stile di tatuaggio sardo basato sullo stile chicano, per rappresentare la Sardegna ,cosi' ricca di tradizioni cultura e immagini che si prestano perfettamente per i tatuaggi.

I am Adrian , born on the 1st of January 1971 in Cagliari, Sardinia ( my beloved paradisiacal island).
I started drawing (scribbling) when I was 3 years old.
After graduating from language school, I moved to London, where I lived for 12 years and started my tattooing career .
Tattooing, after my Familia and Sardinia, is the most important thing in my life.

Tattooing has given me the chance to travel and meet a multitude of interesting and colourful people, and to get to know a lot of different cultures, opening my mind.

What I am trying to achieve with my tattoos is to create a unique design for each client.
A tattoo that follows perfectly the part of the body and represents the person who is gonna wear it, like a tailor made suit.

My work is based on black and grey , Chicano style, which I love and realistic portraiture style only.

One of my projects is to create a Sardinian style inspired by the chicano style, to represent Sardinia with the beauty of its traditions culture and images, that lend themselves so well for tattooing.

Che cos'e' lo stile di tatuaggio Chicano?
Lo stile di tatuaggio Chicano e' una forma di comunicazione non verbale esposta in maniera romantica, passionale, forte. Nasce nei quartieri latini e si sviluppa, in seguito, nelle gangs hispaniche e nelle carceri americani.
la cultura chicana e la cultura dei messicani cresciuti negli stati uniti, una subcultura divisa tra due culture diverse, appunto la cultura messicana e quella americana.
Atraverso i vari disegni usati, si creano delle storie ke parlano delle persone ke le indossano.
Ogni disegno usato ha un significato ben preciso e niente e lasciato al caso.
Sono simboli di appartenenza, di origini, di cultura, di vita nelle sue gioie e dolori, una specie di carta di identita sulla pelle, ke segna vari momenti di vita.
Essendo uno stile ke nasce nei barrios (quartieri poveri messicani) e nelle prigioni, le simbologie usate sono molto forti e crude e rappresentano la filosofia di vita del Gangster, l'uomo e la donna ke indossano, la loro passione e realta, lo spirito di sopravivenza e di adattamento a mille condizioni sfavorevoli, la fierezza,il machismo, l'amore e l'odio, il bene e il male.

Molto riccorente la maskera ke ride e la maskera ke piange accompagnata da scritte in calligrafia elegante o caratteri gotici.
Smile now, Cry later ( ridi adesso, piangi piu tardi), Good times, Bad Times (tempi buoni e tempi cattivi), After the laughters, then come the tears ( dopo i sorrisi vengono le lacrime).

Tipica filosofia della strada, ke indica vivere alla giornata, vivere per l'oggi senza pensare al domani, infiskiarsene delle conseguenze perke la vita del gangster e di breve durata.
Soldi, donne seducenti,okki ke piangono, maskere di clowns,pistole, simboli di gioco d'azzardo, questi sono alcuni dei tanti simboli usati, ke rappresntano altri aspetti della vita del gangster.
Potere, sucesso, seduzione, rikkezza, dolore, pericolo, messaggi ben kiari insomma.
La maskera del clown per esempio rappresenta il sorriso esterno mentre dentro si piange.

Altri simboli sono le icone religiose, Madonne, Gesu, mani ke pregano, crocifissi, rosari etc...
Rappresentano la fede e la speranza in una vita migliore, una rikiesta di aiuto e protezione o possono essere usate anke magari unite a rose e scritte per ricordare una persona persa, tatuaggi in memoria di una persona cara.
Ritratti di padri, madri, sorelle, fratelli, figli/e rappresentano l'importanza della famiglia.

Simboli precolombiani, guerrieri azteki, divinita mesoamericane, gliphs, creature mitologike delle civilta azteca, piramidi , statue e monumenti di una civilta antica e misteriosa.
questi sono simboli usati per rappresentare , l'orgoglio della razza, la discendenza da una cultura di guerrieri ke creo un impero, le radici prima del arrivo degli europei.
Figure di rivoluzionari del movimento indipendentista messicano, rappresentano anke essi la fierezza della propria cultura, identita.

Una simbologia molto ricca, piena di mille sfumature, ke sono resi in un modo alle volte fumettistico, alle volte realistico, alle volte graffittaro e cosi via.
Tatuaggi molto crudi in pricipio, diventano una forma d'arte raffinata ed elegante nelle mani di abili tatuatori ke conoscono lo stile, i significati i sentimenti giusti.

Chicano tattooing style is a non verbal form of comunication, delivered in a strong, passionate,and romantic way.
It was born in the latin neighbourhoods and developed in the hispanic prison gangs in the usa.
Chicano culture is a subculture divided between american and mexican cultures.
Mexicans brought up in the usa.
Through different designs, stories are told about the persons that wear them.
Each design has got a meaning and nothing is left to chance.
They are symbols of belonging, culture, life in its joys and sorrows, a kind of identity card on the skin, that immortalizes different moments in life.
Being a style that was born in the "barrios"( poor mexican neighbourhoods) and in prison, the symbology are very strong and crude.
They rappresent the philosophy of the gangster, the man, the woman, that wear on their skin their realities and their passion, their survival instinct, their pride, machismo, love and hate, good and bad.

Symbols that are often used are, the happy n sad masks together with elegant script or old english lettering.
Smile now, cry later, after the laughters then come the tears, good times and bad times.


typical street mentality that means living for today, not caring about the consequences cos the life of the gangster is too short.
Money,sexy women, crying eyes, clown masks, guns, gamble, these are some of the many symbols used that rappresent this kind of life.
Power, success, seduction,wealth, pain, danger, pretty clear messages.
the clown mask for example signifies the eternal smile outside while crying inside.


Religious icons.
Mother mary, praying hands, crucifixes, rosaries etc...
they rappresent the faith in a better life, asking for help and protection or they can be used, together with frases and roses, to remember someone that has been lost.in memory tattoos.
portraits of mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, rappresent the importance of family.


Precolombian symbols, atztec warriors, mesoamerican divinities, glyphs, mythological creatures of the aztec civilisation, pyramids, statues and monuments of an ancient and mysterious lost civilisation.
They rappresent pride in the raza, ancestry from a warrior dynasty that created an empire, the roots before the europeans arival. Revolutionary from the mexican independist movement show the pride of their own culture and identity.

A very rich symbology, full of many flavas are rendered sometimes in a cartoony way, sometimes realistic, sometimes in a grafiti style.
Tattoos that are very crude become a fine and elegant form of art in the hands of skilled tattooists that know this style, its meanings and the right feeling.

La passione, la fierezza, il fuoco e i sentimenti, il machismo, il valore di tradizione, famiglia e cultura sono caratteristike ke conettono tutte le culture latine.
Dai nostri avi, prima che l'Italia fosse una nazione e' nata la cultura latina, da qui si e' espansa ed evoluta in altri paesi del Mondo arricchendosi di mille sfaccettature ma mantenendo caratteristiche comuni.
Questo e' quello che vogliamo trasmettere con il nostro modo di tatuare. Una reinterpretazione dello "STILE CHICANO" (stile latino per eccellenza) usando elementi personali della vita del cliente: i suoi dolori, le sue gioie, l'amore, momenti importanti, la cultura, la famiglia.
Raccontando episodi che rappresentano la sua essenza in un modo elegante, fiero, pieno di passione oltre che bello esteticamente. Qualcosa di cui essere fieri d'indossare sulla propria pelle e per tutta la vita.
Uno stile classico senza eta'.
Per questa ragione il tempo dedicato al colloquio personale con il cliente prima di arrivare al tatuaggio vero e proprio e' fondamentale per riuscire a portare fuori quello che vuole rappresentare.
